Medfood is a privately owned South African FMCG manufacturing, packing and product development business built on decades of industry experience, technical expertise and strong commercial relationships.
Founded in the Western Cape in 2017 following a relocation of operations, Medfood is led by Hennie Meadon, CEO, who brings more than 30+ years of experience in FMCG manufacturing, packaging and contract production. His experience spans large-scale production, product development, packaging and the commercial growth of brands across multiple FMCG categories.
Since its establishment, Medfood has experienced significant growth while helping clients take products from early-stage ideas through development, manufacturing and into local and international retail markets. Over the years, the business has also built a strong network of suppliers, technical specialists, packaging partners and industry professionals.
This depth of experience gives Medfood a practical understanding of the FMCG industry from beginning to end — from formulation and sourcing through manufacturing, packaging, distribution and retail.
Today, Medfood combines in-house food science, blending, packing, tea manufacturing and product development with creative and packaging support to offer clients a complete route to market.
